Foodie Fundo | n. | a moveable feast cycling event for foodies

 

New York City's favorite culinary bike tour will take cycling-and cuisine enthusiasts on a gentle 50-mile guided ride through four boroughs. This "great ride" is hosted by restaurateurs Andrew Tarlow (Diner, Marlow & Sons, Marlow & Daughters, Marlow Goods, Roman's Reynard, Achilles Heel, She Wolf Bakery) and Henry Rinehart (HENRY's). Industry pros will join with fellow foodie friends as they visit icons of the New York food scene along with hidden industry favorites in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. 

In addition to Rinehart and Tarlow, this year’s roster of creative food and beverage professionals participating in the event includes: Chef Ron Silver (Bubby’s Meatpacking), Chef Patch Troffer (Marlow & Sons), Chef Helen You (Dumpling Galaxy), Chef Jimmy Tu (Bunker), Chef Stephen Lyle (Chef-at-Large), Brewmaster Rich Buceta (SingleCut Beersmiths), John Cosenza (Cosenza’s FIsh Market), Larry Addeo (Addeo’s Bakery), Steve Hindy (Brooklyn Brewery), and Chef Dave Ferraro (HENRY’s). Additional front-of-house professionals will be joining the peloton in support of this great ride or “gran fondo”. The guided ride concludes with a full meal and American craft libations at HENRY's. 

This a charitable event with all proceeds benefitting Transportation Alternatives, New York's leading advocate for bike and pedestrian safety.
