HENRY's Chef Dave Ferraro has created a special burger in partnership with the James Beard Foundation. Chef's Uptown Blended Burger - Short Rib, Shiitake Mushroom, Caramelized Onion, Boston Lettuce, Whipped Porcini-Herb Goat Cheese, Sesame Seed Bun - is a work of (burger) art that is available for your enjoyment for the months of June and July. Come in, order your Beard's Blended Burger and vote for HENRY's on Instagram or online.
The Blended Burger Project is an in-restaurant menu promotion that strives to improve the burger by blending ground meat with finely chopped mushrooms, creating a more delicious, healthy, and sustainable burger. The James Beard Foundation is inviting restaurants and chefs all across the country to participate by featuring a “Blended Burger” on their menus.
After the promotion concludes on July 31, 2016, the five (5) chefs with the most Instagram uploads by consumers will win a trip to New York City in October 2016 to cook their “Blended Burgers” at the official welcome reception for the annual JBF Food Conference at the historic James Beard House.
